Dolly on the left, Barney on the right. Friends forever!
I was trying to decide whether to post these portraits on Barney’s memorial site, but I thought they belonged here. I might do a separate post later though, why not?
I painted both portraits in ink and colored them in digitally with my wacom tablet. Dolly’s portrait is actually slightly smaller because I wanted them to represent their real life sizes and how they would look when they gazed at each other, which they did very often:
